新着情報ハワイ州における大規模洪水被害へのお見舞い
このたび、アメリカ合衆国ハワイ州オアフ島において発生した大規模な洪水により、被害を受けられた皆さまに対し、心よりお見舞い申し上げます。 ハワイ州より大規模災害宣言が発出される中、本学といたしましては、現地におられる皆さまの安全確保と、被災地域が一日も早く復旧・回復されることを、心よりお祈り申し上げます。
また、研究教育連携を通じて交流のあるハワイ大学マノア校の皆さまにおかれましては、多大なるご困難の中にお過ごしのことと拝察いたします。被災された地域が一日も早く平穏な日常を取り戻されますよう、本学教職員一同、切に願っております。

Message of Sympathy from President Murayama to those affected by the massive flood damage in the State of Hawaii,U.S.A.
We would like to express our heartfelt sympathy to those affected by the recent massive flooding on Oahu, Hawaii, in the United States.
As the State of Hawaii has declared a State of Emergency, our institute sincerely prays for the safety of everyone in the affected areas and for the swift restoration and recovery of the disaster-stricken regions.
Furthermore, we understand that our partners at the University of Hawaii at Mānoa, with whom we have research and educational ties, are facing immense difficulties. All of our faculty and staff earnestly hope that the affected areas will return to a peaceful daily life as soon as possible.
